Cord Budde, born in Herford, completed an apprenticeship as a freight forwarder after studying law. In 1993, Cord Budde Jr. took over the position of managing director and in 1998 the majority of the company shares of Ludwig Weinrich GmbH & Co. KG. The entrepreneur Cord Budde is known far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia for his charitable commitment, both in the humanitarian and ecological area, with which he supports positive developments at home and abroad. In 2019, Cord Budde travelled to Ghana together with Martin Franz.
