Alexander-von-Humboldt Professorship of Environmental Economics

Stefanie Engel holds a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Maryland (USA). After completing her doctorate, she headed a junior research group financed by the Robert Bosch Foundation at the Center for Development Research in Bonn. In 2006 she became professor for environmental policy and economics at the ETH Zurich (Switzerland).
Since October 2014 she has been Alexander von Humboldt Professorship of Environmental Economics at Osnabrück University.
As part of the project, she oversees the work of Hannes Campe.
